Let me tell you about myself: I have had to deal with the death of 4 family members since the year 2000. Since the last died in May 2003, I have literally been spinning circles covering over 7000 miles in the duration. I'm slowly putting Life back together again.
Since my divorce in 1999, I have been like a lost puppy. I do not know any way of life except being in a relationship- a relationship in which I am able to express my emotions, my experiences. Life without the ability to share all that you are and accept all that she is- just sometimes doesn't make sense. I will not feel comfortable anywhere, in any country, without the love of a woman beside me. To insure a life of love and happiness, I will move to you in a moment's notice if you feel we can bond together the joy and love we want so desperately for each other-from each other. I certainly miss sharing my life with another, but I want that to change.
I'm hoping to meet a woman who enjoys Romance, Attention and have excellent conversations-a woman who wants someone to listen, who wants a friend as well as a lover. I strongly believe in Chivalry and I try to express that trait as often as possible. Marital status: divorced
I divorced because I was tired of being threatened with divorce
for not complying to her every demand. You understand my
thoughts about marriage-marriage is not meant to be one sided
where one mate carries 100% of responsibilities for love and
life while the other mate contributes nothing.
I am seeking: a long-term relationship
I cannot compromise what I seek in exchange for convenience or
casual encounters. I wish a relationship with one woman until our
dying day. The woman that chooses me for the remainder of our
lives may decide she does not wish to go through the formality of a
marriage, primarily due to the pain from a previous marriage-I am
willing to forgo the ceremony because in our hearts we know the
true bond we have.

I am not a father to any children, not because I don't want to raise
a child but because I was never had the opportunity. During my
marriage it was obvious that the woman I married could not take care
of herself, and because I knew I had a made a mistake with the
marriage I could not have a child born in this environment.

I will be 43 in January, and I have thought about being a father to a child for a very long time, and I have decided that it is ok if I am not a father. I can still be a father-type and a positive influence for the woman with a child or children who loves me. Please understand the decision to have a child is not a decision I make alone-the woman who loves me must also have an equal choice in this decision. In another lifetime of mine, I worked Radio in Sacramento, California(KROY, KSFM, KYLO) and there were many a night I was in the studio recording carts(before CDs) for airplay. Occasionaly I would sneak in an extended version of a song or two-no one would catch it until it actually aired. I found, while in the studio one night, the greatest segue(one song mixing into another) I ever heard. Both songs are from Foreigner-Waiting For A Girl Like You and I Want To Know What Love Is. This set begins with a man who discovers the feelings of love within him for a woman he has waited his entire life for. He does not know if she feels the same way and he is so afraid of intimidating her with his emotions and exclamations that she might turn and run. As we move into the next song, he is finally convinced he must express his love to her because it is the love from her that has changed his life forever. Whenever I play these two back-to-back......I lose it-from the expressions of pain, of fear and finally of joy from the revelation, discovery and finally the proclamation of love. Ultimately my favorite song is by Eric Clapton, Wonderful Tonight, and will always forever be 'our' song. This song is an anthem for two people who love each other without measure.

'I am old and she lives so far away.. I have challenges ahead and the reality is - the next trip back will be for my funeral,' she said.
'When you were saying good-bye, I heard you say, 'I wish you enough'. May I ask what that means?'.
She began to smile. 'That's a wish that has been handed down from other generations. My parents used to say it to everyone'. She paused a moment and looked up as if trying to remember it in detail and she smiled even more. 'When we said , 'I wish you enough', we were wanting the other person to have a life filled with just enough good things to sustain them'. Then turning toward me, she shared the following as if she were reciting it from memory.
